Our visit to new Redditch store: The Range
After a much anticipated wait, last Friday 14th of July saw the opening of The Range in the Redditch Kingfisher Shopping Centre.
The store was opened by the mayor of Redditch, councillor Jenny Wheeler and accompanied by Kingfisher manager Ken Williams alongside The Range CEO, Nigel Oddy. Queues formed outside the store in the hopes of receiving goodie bags available for the first 50 visitors. The store, which can be found in the former BHS location is an exciting new addition to the shopping centre, that promises to bring sustainable business as well as creating numerous jobs for local Redditch residents.
For those unaware, The Range is a retailer of beautiful home, leisure and garden products, that also extends into DIY, arts and crafts, pet care and most things in between! The first floor entrance displays a selection of seasonal products such as charcoal, instant barbecues and burger sauce, accompanied by a beautiful 6 seater rattan furniture set at £399.99 and a Lay-z-spa inflatable hot tub for just £299.99!
The first floor contains a wide selection of home decor that will suit a variety of themes and personalities! There is a great selection of romantic and ornate home ware or unleash your nautical side with their selection of decorative anchors, helms and painted driftwood accessories! Amongst these, is an extensive collection of artwork, mirrors, and lighting leading to the DIY and petcare sections.
As an outdoor leisure company, we were particularly interested in the garden furniture, appliances and accessories which can be found on the second floor of the store. Upon entry, you are greeted by bedroom furniture, gardening tools and decorations. Here are a few of our favorites.
Further along, the outdoor living range is introduced to us with a selection of barbecues, firepits and garden decor such as solar lighting and wind chimes. This leads to the parasols, gazebos, awnings, camping equipment, and garden furniture such as this helicopter chair with LED bluetooth speaker for just £149.99 and the Athens Gazebo for £199.99!
Finally, at the back of the store is where the arts and crafts section can be found. All items in this article can be purchased online at www.therange.co.uk, including a selection of products from the Lifestyle Appliances leisure range!
